Always reimagining a better way to live

I’m interested in new ideas, but I’m not a philosopher.

I’m interested in our communities, but I’m not a politician.

I’m interested in health but I’m not a doctor.

I’m interested in happiness & meaning but im not a psychologist.

I LOVE designing Objects & SHELTER but I’m not an architect.

I’m interested in patterns but I’m not a mathematician.

I’m interested in experimenting but I’m not a scientist.

I am interested in exploring the next phase of the way we live….. in our homes.. in our communities.. on our planet… as part of the cosmos.

We are at an interesting crossroads where we need to make a decision: do we continue full steam ahead into an artificial world, not fully understanding the consequences, or do we lean back towards the natural world, and bring the wisdom of nature into the future?

My overwhelming urge is to sacrifice the laws of consumerism and instead be guided by the more powerful laws of nature.

My hypothesis is that if we can meld ourselves back into nature and make decisions from that perspective, the solutions we create for shelter, food, water and communities will make us more resilient, adaptive, stronger, happier, healthier & wiser.

Moving forward alongside the process of designing I intend to consider more deeply a more useful holistic philosophy, how communities can become more connected, how we can thrive in optimal health by better understanding the connection between our personal health and the health of the natural world, the link between meaning/purpose and happiness, and the universal patterns that keep showing up and what they offer as a powerful guide, For me to design anything without considering all this and more is empty and meaningless!
